Nova Scotia Co-operative Council’s 70th anniversary
An evening with Barack Obama
The Nova Scotia Co-operative Council celebrated their 70th anniversary by hosting the 44th president of the United States, Mr. Barack Obama at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
It was Mr. Obama’s first visit to Atlantic Canada and he addressed a sold out crowd of 9,000 guests, including 3,000 youth. CEO of the Nova Scotia Co-operative Council, Dianne Kelderman moderated the discussion with Mr. Obama.
The assignment
In order to celebrate their 70th anniversary and seize the opportunity to create an entrepreneurial fund destined to support coops unable to obtain funding from traditional lenders,
the Nova Scotia Co-operative Council enlisted BrainWorks to oversee the branding, planning, and execution of an evening with Barack Obama.
Unbox the extraordinary
we delivered inspiring results at every turn
Hosting a world leader comes with a series of protocols to follow, including guidelines around creative interpretation! Any high-profile guest already comes with an established personal brand, so the look and feel of the event’s branding had to reflect the values and legacy of Mr Obama. We went with a timeless monochromatic brand, adaptable to all applications.
